Ductograms/Galactograms

Nipple discharge is a common presenting symptom of underlying breast duct pathology.

Ductography (also called galactography or ductogalactography) is a special type of contrast enhanced mammography used for imaging the breast ducts. It involves injecting a contrast agent (dye) into a breast duct and taking an image to evaluate any abnormalities of that breast duct which may be causing an abnormal nipple discharge.
